We purchased an entire house full of carpet, hardwood and ceramic tile. To a man, their installers were professional and showed up on time. We had a pretty complicated job layout and were on a pretty tight timeline. The whole thing went off without a hitch. Our salesperson was very patient with us and gave us some great recommendations, including Stainmaster Pet carpet that we put in our family room. Looks great! Thank you, Custom Carpet!
Ordered a stair runner the first week of September 2016. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to be ordered, bounded and installed. The store sent 3 different people out to measure. 1 guy came out 2 separate occasions to measure. From there the first "installer" came out, stated he had to go back to the shop to cut the runner (which I had been told it was all set to be "installed" hence, "installer")... and he NEVER returned. Scott and his carpet install group removed/bent a window screen frame and it cannot be put back in, hid it in the attic. They broke my desk. Sean put in a nose molding on the steps an inch and half too short on both sides and an half inch too short. He raised his voice/argued with me that was"adequate". He and crew were to cut all doors after carpet was installed. Sean cut door at the top vs bottom, cut it crooked. I entered thinking I was going to get good service. However, a fat bald headed store manager was rude and not helpful. I had 4 rooms that needed carpeting and was willing to pay upfront. He was non informative about his product and offered me a card from another contractor...probably his relative. For one bedroom that had no furniture in it he wanted to charge almost $1000.00. I became suspect and said "I don't think we can do business". His reply was "it was for the better". What does that even mean? Does he not want money ... read more
