I am new to the lake and bought a boat. Realized that the boat cradle needed to be adjusted before I could park the boat safely. I called Bill at Custom Boat Cradles and they made a last minuter adjustment to their schedule to get me fixed so not to delay the boat delivery. This was great service and truly above and beyond given how busy they are right now. Now I've commissioned them to build my new wave runner cradle. Can't wait for that!! Thanks Bill and Linda!!
I saw the custom side mount lift on the web site, because I needed more clearance for a new boat with ski tower. When Bill came out he noticed the dock builder hadn't braced across poles bearing the weight of the boat, the poles were pulling together from the weight and damaging the dock. He arranged for someone to come and weld support braces (very reasonably) with in a few days. My experience was terrible. He replaced my custom metal cradle with straps back in the late Spring. He took my old cradle to his shop and I was going to have it picked up so I could have for future use. It completely slipped my mind until his SPAM email came about his services and I remembered he had my cardle. I reached out to him and he told me he scrapped it. Totally wrong to do and I question whether it was scrapped. He has offered no compensation. He also had my cell phone number and email address to contact me. ... read more
