My builder used CAV for my AV system. CAV failed to install the alarm system we paid for and instead sent me to a third party to spend more money. For the work they did do, they did not complete it and left holes in the ceiling. As other reviews state, they will constantly tell you lies and excuses about the delay for equipment. For instance, the sub that took months to arrive ended up being a sub that was discontinued in 2019. Avoid these lying thieves.
The worst! I paid $900 for "review" and proposal to update my Lutron system. They charged me for 2 technicians and only sent one. Six weeks after payment for the service, I have yet to receive a report or suggested upgrade. I have called, texted and emailed them several times over the last two weeks and each time I was given a different excuse. For two weeks it was that the lone technician had not submitted his report.
