Do not miss visiting the Custer institute! Farhan, Bill & the entire team of volunteers are so passionate and knowledgeable; it’s a real community vibe. The telescopes are impressive and there’s so much to see on a clear night. 10/10 out of world experience!
Went stargazing with my partner here and we had such a lovely experience. We saw Jupiter through the telescope, got a tour of the basement with the lens equipments, looked at a couple of galaxies in a dome outside. And saw many stars. It wasn’t as busy or crowded either so we didn’t really wait much for anything. Def do plan on coming back throughout the years with my partner again. I’d recommend donating at least $5 at the door…
