As we walked in we were told, “The owner requires a mask to be worn”. Not a problem, but we did not have masks with us and the kid told us the masks were right up front. However, when we walked up front to get a mask there was a price of $1 per mask. First and foremost, we are NOT paying a dollar per mask to purchase your ice cream. You’re absolutely right - as Americans, we have the right to require masks, and you have the right to not wear them and go elsewhere. Freedom is a beautiful thing about our country. As we mentioned, our elderly owner requires masks because her health conditions make her extremely high risk of getting the virus. She would likely not recover if she contracted the virus.
