I have now ended my 13 years relationship using Curwen Walker Lawyers to undertake my property conveyancing needs. Would highly recommend working with another company, especially if you are after conveyancing services. Overpriced compared to other companies in the area doing the same work. Communication was poor and I was not notified of important information until the last minute, leaving little to no time to action or even ask questions if it seemed incorrect or was unexpected. No empathy for clients they are working with, at times very disrespectful to speak with - loved to push blame elsewhere. I was extremely upset and disappointed ... read more

I used to work in association with John years ago and he's a great guy who cared about his clients. HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED, since he retired! We been trying to get a simple issue sorted out for over a month with no joy at all. Poor understanding of the issue and continuous non-return of phone calls. Go somewhere else! And yet another day goes by with a promise of a phone call back, but surprise-surprise, no one called...... All particularly disappointing when we're asking them to assist with a mistake that they made!

I would without doubt recommend Curwen Walker and in particular Tom Sullivan to anybody that is wanting a first class experience in dealing with any sort of legal matter. From the first meeting to the final email the service and knowledge was precise, succinct and courteous. Highly recommend with 5 stars

Don't waste your money or time. This company has a high turnover of staff, therefore I felt I wasnt important and I was left to find a lot of information myself regarding my late fathers will. I organised 6 meetings with Tom Sullivan, but he only attended 2 of them. I was left with a young girl, who wasn't a lawyer, who wrote down the questions I needed answers to, but after constant phone calls and never ending emails, I gave up.
