small boutique shop. Not many bridesmaids dresses to choose from. The lady helping us got our measurements wrong. Not many dressing rooms so you are rushed during your appointment. Didn't see any bridal gowns worth trying on either

I just got back from trying on dresses here, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. It's so amazing to find a bridal boutique with a large selection that believes brides aren't all size 6. My consultant, Taylor was so helpful and knowledgeable, and she picked the perfect dresses for me, now I just have to decide between the two! While the quality and selection is great for plus size brides, the sample sizes available to try on were so stunningly limited. I was hoping they'd have a great selection of bridesmaids dresses but they only had 3 sample dresses that I found out of 30-40 that were above a size 20. I'm certainly not going to buy such an expensive dress before I try it on, especially as a curvy woman. I am sad to not be giving Curvy Girls Bridal a good review. I so wanted to love the store. I actually did have an amazing dress shopping experience when I went last May. My consultant was April, and she was tremendously helpful, listened to my budget, and found me the dress of my dreams. I ordered my dress then, and was told they estimated it would arrive in October. My wedding was not scheduled until August 2013, so obviously that was plenty of time. However, I live near Philadelphia, so obviously I was trying to plan ahead... read more
