Curves reminds us May is Mental Health Month. Take a minute to listen or chat with someone. .many. elderly people have no body to talk with or check on them. Young people sometimes need to share problems going on in their lives. It may be one the most important or satisfying few minutes of your life.

This is a review of the Curves location at Garey and Foothill Blvd in Pomona. I've been attending this gym for about five years. The proprietor, Sharon, is a dear heart, and her staff, Nona and Trina, are SO kind and positive. I feel supported and encouraged as I work out - no one ever says anything negative; there's no nonsense; it's not about competition or "you have to sweat more." Nobody says, "No pain, no gain." I attended the curves on General Booth Blvd. It does not look like what they are advertising. To me, it is a scam. Some of the equipment was not properly working. They really treat you like a kid, who doesn't follow rules. When you finish the program, and you do not complete your weeks you signed up for, the owner will pencil in the days that you miss and tell you to cancel your membership with this company, who is advertising now on Facebook.
