We had a wonderful experience with our recent plumbing service in Hickory. We were dealing with a backed-up sink and garbage disposal, and the plumber, Raymond, was extremely responsive and helpful. Even though we called later in the day, they scheduled a visit for first thing the next morning. Raymond explained clearly which water sources we could still use until he arrived. I had a leak at my meter box and needed a plumber fast. I called a local plumbing company in Hickory and they were able to schedule me within a couple of hours. They really care about their customers and even offer priority service and discounts for returning clients. I went down to my basement and noticed water pooling around the bottom of my water heater. I called Curtis & Sons Plumbing after hours, and they were able to send someone out by late the next morning. Marvin came over, quickly figured out that the water heater needed to be replaced, and safely shut everything down, including the gas. I wish I could give more than five stars. After having several visits from other companies and still dealing with plumbing problems, I finally decided to call Curtis & Sons Plumbing. Raymond responded quickly when I had no hot water upstairs and was able to come out the same day. i reached out to a local plumber because i needed a gas pipe with a shut-off valve taken out of an old fireplace that can't be used anymore. when talking with the plumber, i realized there were two more fireplaces in the building with the same problem. raymond came over, made sure the gas was safely shut off, then removed and capped all three valves carefully. after that, he even checked in with the business on the ground floor and relit the pilot on the water heater for the whole building. raymond was very careful about saf... read more
