I love supporting small business but this one did disappoint a bit, I must say. The prices are so high, which I understand these days, but the portions and the food don’t match in my opinion. It was good, but not great. And when my sandwich and chips come to $22, I do expect more. I must say everything else was great. Super friendly & fast service, beautifully clean and roomy dining area, and good parking. Also, they have GF and vegetarian options which I love to see. But for the price, I’m afraid it’s a bit sub par.
I went to this deli today for the first time and got the caprese sandwich. People rave about these sandwiches and quite frankly I can't understand why. My sandwich was so skimpy. One piece of cheese, tomato, and prosciutto on each half between two enormous pieces of bread. Seriously? And for this I paid $15? And tipped? This is why I hate tipping prior to having my food. This practice has got to change. I'm from NY and love a good sandwich. It's definitely not going to be here.
Always a solid sandwich, and every single person working there is incredibly kind. Great food and people.
