I couldn’t believe the prices for everything. $5 to ride a chained up pony in a small circle? It was our first time to Curtis Orchard so I asked one of the employees where the actual pumpkin patch was and he said I’d have to go to the token booth to find out where it was because he didn’t know! Prices are just ridiculous. The store smelt nice & seemed to have a lot of neat stuff. My kids loved the giant pumpkin inflatable but they weren’t paying for any of it so I understand.

Business response:

Hi, Laura, thanks for taking the time to share your review of our place, especially since it allows us to always seek to improve. We're happy to hear you enjoyed the Country Store's ambiance and that your kids loved the all-new giant pumpkin jumping pad. I apologize for the employee's response, as we try to educate all staff where things like our 16-acre pumpkin patch is located! We understand it can be somewhat pricey here, which is why we offer things like the Play-All-Day wristband (curtisorchard.com/weekendactivities/) a... read more

We took the 2 great granddaughters and they had a blast. We felt the prices were reasonable, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was Columbus day and very busy, but the experience was awesome!!

Business response:

Linda, we are so honored by your kind words! Thank you so much for your review and giving our place such a high rating!

Only problem I had was all the little black bugs bit us the whole time!!!!

Business response:

BJ, we really appreciate the 4 stars! And we agree! We are trying to do everything we can to get rid of those annoying "noseeums" that can be quite bothersome at harvest-time.

I paid 5 bucks per bag because I bought 6. The bags were so small, I'd say it's cheaper to buy apples at the store. Considering you have to walk all over and the bags are small, and slim pickings. I drove about 80 miles to try this place. Never again. Ill stick with garwood in Indiana.

Not bad it was very busy at first, but we had a good time, occasionally we had rude people as my grandmother is on a walker and she moves a little slower than others.

Business response:

Thank you for the high rating, Megan! We're so glad to hear you had a good time, and are so sorry to hear about the rudeness!

Place is very run down and dirty. 25 dollars for armbands and all the equipment is run down. Hasn't been cleaned or updated in years.
