One year after bilateral knee replacements and I am still in considerable pain and barely walk with the use of a cane. After my surgery I was dumped in a rehab hospital where my legs froze, bent at 30 degrees. Not a word from Dr. Nakasone or his team. One of the worst decisions I ever made! I could at least swim, walk and exercise before my surgery. It too Physical Therapy twice a week for nine months just to get my knees mostly straight again.
Dr. Awaya was rude and condescending the whole visit. He was telling me how I needed to pick one thing to hurt because if I had both neck and back pain it was too much for him to deal with. Then he told me there was nothing he could do for me and rudely asked me if I’ve ever “tried ibuprofen”?? If I hadn’t tried all of these things why would I be there? And when I told him I’d be continuing PT per my PCP’s instructions he was dismissive and told me that I could only do PT so many times. He said my symptoms would come and go ... read more
Very nice. Kind non judgmental in the way he treats his patients. Very professional.
The doctor appears to have little confidence in his ability as a surgeon. His office states the doctor will not give second opinions or do surgery if you have had surgery in the past. The office is just plain rude and doesn't pride this information without first wasting your time.
In all my years of seeing healthcare professionals, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. As others have mentioned, Dr. Ragala is not professional. The whole appointment I felt like he was rushing and annoyed by my questions. I am a new patient and he spent all of 5 minutes establishing me. My partner is a healthcare practitioner and accompanied me to the appointment. He too was astounded by Dr. Ragala's apparent disinterest in his patients. It was impossible to get Dr. Ragala to answer any questions, listen,... read more
Not very good. He was aloof and did not have any suggestions when I mentioned bleeding. His lead receptionist is worse. She asked that I not create any additional work for her.
Dr. Kojima is an expert in his field of radiology and has always taken the time to review mri scans carefully and explain the detailed results to me in simple language that I can understand. I am so grateful to have found him.
Dr. Yim rushed our appointments everytime, stating that he had something else to get to. After requesting mri scans and finding nothing, he drew the conclusion that my neurology problems all stemmed from my diabetes. I'm a type 1 diabetic who carefully manages my diabetes and this accusation was ridiculous and was not in his field of knowledge for him to draw such conclusions. When I saw my diabetes doctor about this, he was genuinely concerned that Dr. Yim had declared such things as they were highly inaccurate.
He has helped me get through a rough time with cancer and I would definitely trust and recommend him to anyone
