Staff blatantly ignored me when I had an injured possum in a basket. I arrived at the door at 5:01PM and saw someone handing in an animal, just as I was about to reach the door the workers shut the doors after making eye contact with me. 3 staff members were standing on their phones and all turned around, saw me and then walked away while I’m standing there with an injured possum, another staff member closed a door whilst making eye contact with me and completely ignoring me at the door. Huge thank you to Currumbin Wildlife Hospital for all they do every day for animals and wildlife that need care the most 🥰🙏🏻 This was a big highlight of our family’s visit here to Gold Coast earlier this month while at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. We missed the scheduled presentation here but were able to watch as vets carefully cared for animals in front of us including a wallaby, bat, and kookaburra.
