Way over priced. Whatever you do, always get a second opinion. Saved me from almost spending over $16,000.(no exaggeration) 5 year customer lost because of price gouging. 2 stars because they used to be somewhat reasonable and trustworthy.
I've had a few services done so far by Currie's, and the technicians are very informative and the pricing has been fair. I really appreciate how they clearly set up their work and do things the correct way. Miscommunication has happened a bit over the phone, but it gets cleared up right away as often the technician needs to diagnose or quote out an issue in person. Confirmed appointment twice, no show. Bad attitude first time they came.
I had a technician come out when my furnace was not working. He was there for several hours just throwing new parts at my furnace. I didn’t get a real sense that an actual diagnosis or assessment was taking place. It shut down again a little soon after he left. Since it was thanksgiving Eve, I did not want to call them back again so I changed the nozzle, which is something that’s done with just about every maintenance event.
