I've had the pleasure of staying at Courier's Lakeview Lodge a number of times and find it to be a hidden gem of the Rice Lake area. If you're looking for a quiet, tranquil getaway, this is definitely a place for you. The owners are wonderfully polite people whether it's getting help with your stay, or finding your way around the area. We also looked forward to a morning breakfast snack of freshly made deliciously moist scones from a friendly local baker.
Our stay at the Curries lodge was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, the staff at the front desk greeted us with warm smiles and efficiency. The lake front suite was spacious, modern, and incredibly comfortable The resort's private property was a highlight – we loved the clear, calm water and the peaceful atmosphere. Place was great. The room was cute and cozy, had a full size fridge and a small canning size range and microwave. We had a room with a king size bed and two twins and there was plenty of room between beds. Only issue we had was that the shower made a whistle noise for about 5-10 when using it and then the noise stopped. We let them know this at check out so I'm sure they well check the water lines. We will be back again.
Was not as advertised. The advertisement that was shown on booking .com displayed pictures of cabins, this is a large hotel with cabin theme. Also on booking .com said check in times were 3-8pm, we had gotten a call a 5:45 that check in closes at 6. It was a good thing we left for our 4hour trip early because we had no idea,we were 5 mins out when we got the call. Bed was very uncomfortable. Beautiful views of the lake. Rooms are themed and very nice. Everyone was friendly. Able to have a bonfire with provided firewood. We had a wonderful stay!!
