Words can’t express how pleased I was with my first appointment. Xian really takes the time to learn what your desired outcome is, executes, and then educates you on how to maintain at home. I had my first curly cut at The Curl Lounge Atl about a week ago, and I was blown away. Zy was the stylist I booked with and she was absolutely incredible! I was a tiny bit nervous when I came in because I previously had a bad curly cut experience at a different salon. Zy was confident, and that put me at ease immediately. My experience was okay but there were things I can’t overlook. 1st I paid specifically for Xian (the owner) to do my hair. Multiple times she passed me to her assistant to do things I have no issue with that except I paid more to be seen by her. If you are type 4 I’d honestly skip. I felt like the love was for looser textures. 2nd I came in with red hair left with purple they used a detox mask on my hair which stripped the color and didn’t say anything I only really realized how different my color was when I got home.
