I am so grateful that we moved our mom, Kathe Griffin. from a large uncaring ALF where she was ignored to be looked after in a home setting by Kathryn and the caring staff of Curlew Cares. Here, she was able to stay in her own room even after she could no longer walk and needed total care. Everyone treated her as though she were their own mother, giving hugs and taking time to talk with her about her day. Please do not put your loved one in here. A family member was addicted to ambien and I found out that they were giving them ambien at night. I still have the packets that were prescribed to her from when she slept at my house. They want their patients sedated. There is no one assisting these people at night. I've been there on several occasions and could not find a worker. These residents were left unattended. My family member was robbed, her cell phone was used on several occasions to call out of the country. There has also... read more

Such an amazing facility! Great people and great environment. Very clean and well maintained. Took my daughter here to trick or treat and all residents looked very happy and were treated very well.

I have been very impressed with the owner, Kathryn, who has been so available to me. I work for home health and am often in contact with families needing immediate placement. She has always taken my calls, follows up with the families right away, day, evening, weekends...it hasn’t mattered. She and her staff are amazing! When you walk in you immediately feel welcome!
