This was my third attempt at getting a curly cut, first time with Tessa, and I could not be happier with what she was able to do for me. Her consultation at the start of the appointment was thorough, she answered every question I had and helped me finally understand *my* hair (e.g., porosity level, perfect product line up). Tessa was incredible!! She gave me tons of tips on how to improve my curl routine that were specific to my hair type. I definitely recommend her if you want to learn how to learn how to make your curls look their best!
I had the best experience with Tessa! She didn’t just style my hair—she educated me. She helped me understand my unique curl pattern, texture, and why my hair responds the way it does to certain products. For the first time, I feel like I truly understand my hair. I walked out feeling confident, seen, and equipped with the right products and techniques to maintain my curls at home. Tessa quite simply changed my life. I have fought and lamented my curly hair for over 30 years and she finally made it all make sense. Even though I had sought out hairstylists who “know” curly hair for years she is the first ever who KNOWS curly hair.
