Jessica is a miracle worker!! I have struggled with my curly hair my whole life and the ladies at the Curl Sanctuary turned it all around. The pic on the left is a few weeks before my visit - severely damaged, dry, frizzy. Jessica spent time talking to me about my long and short term goals and how we can get there. She is incredibly knowledgeable and taught me how to wash, condition, use styling products and dry to get beautiful, bouncy curls! It’s not overly complicated or time consuming. My hair left feeling deeply moisturized and hydrated. However, my hair is short and coily, the owner admitted afterwards she had never worked on hair as short as mines. I didn’t like the curly cut. For my hair, it was a snip here, a snip there. Almost like hedge trimming, which my hair let it be known it did not appreciate at all. My ends in some sections of are frayed. I think the uneven cut let some of my ends too exposed, so they dried out and feel rough. Which I have never experienced this level of severity before.
I have been looking for a curl specialist for years. I hesitated to contact the owner for an appointment due to the costs. I now realize that it is not just a hair cut. It also consists of hair reset, pampering, and personalized hair regimen and products. Lillian gave me beautiful curls. I’ve been following the curly girl method for sometime, but hadn’t received a curly girl cut until now. Just wow! They gave my curls new life!
