I debated writing this review because Emilia was wonderful. I went to this salon because doing both my hair and my son's hair has been more difficult since an accident, and I was looking for help with our curls. Unfortunately, our experience with Oscar was not so great. He was immediately bothered with my sons hair because it was knotted. He has 3c/4a hair in a curly Afro hairstyle that almost covers his forehead. He said that he's had to cut hair that was too matted, but my son's hair was detangled without being cut. Fav salon ever. So curly-friendly (3B for reference). My hair is still healthy after changing the color numerous times. My curls stay cute all week after it’s styled!
Oscar is an amazing hairstylist. He spends time to get know your hair concerns and is super knowledgeable about treatments. Only after one time of seeing him my curls have gotten so much healthier. Very happy I found this salon!
Emilia did a phenomenal job. I got a curly cut a month ago. She did a great job giving my curls the layers they needed to give me the volume I desired. She also gave me advice on curly hair products. My curls have never behaved this well. Thank you Emilia for giving my hair the love it needed and recommending products that actually work!
