We hired Curdes Pools as a subcontractor for a pool remodel, and they abandoned the job. After taking 50% deposit, they performed a hasty demolition and disappeared without completing any of the contracted work. Despite weeks of calls, emails, and messages, they never returned to the project. From what we’ve discovered, Curdes Pools has a track record of not paying their subcontractors, which leaves projects unfinished and have to sell new projects to finish current projects. John was very attentive in helping us choose our new tile and pebble tech. We also added a tanning shelf to our existing pool design and he helped us with this addition. We could not have been happier with the outcome and our pool looks great! There are a lot of pool contractors out there, but we believe we chose the best! He made sure his crew was on time and they cleaned and picked up afterwards. We highly recommend him.
We met with several pool builders before deciding to work with Jon and Curdes Pools. With a newborn, toddler and 3 dogs we were worried about having our backyard turned into a pile of dirt for too long and their team worked efficiently and delivered on each phase of construction.
