About this business

About Us: Before the farm had a name, it had a house with a cupola on top. Oh right, the cupola house people would remember us by. So the Keller family replied yep, the Cupola House Tree Farm and the name stuck. In 1987 Jim Keller boldly planted the first 6,000 tree seedlings. The first of those trees began to be sold in the 90s and the overall number of trees being grown quadrupled. By the 2000s Cupola House Tree Farm was growing into a mature mixed growth tree farm with a greater diversity of species than ever. Today Cupol... read more

We drove an hour to be able to cut out own tree. There were lots to choose from and we found one we loved. It's our 2nd time buying a tree here. Very reasonable prices for both precut and cut your own. No food for sale. Restrooms are portopotties, thankfully we didn't need to use them. Overall a very positive experience. The didn't charge extra for a sharp bow saw or the cart to assist with transport, or for shaking or bundling the tree, or for the twine to tie it to the car. The only cost is $10.50 per foot.

Perfect christmas tree farm! Super cute little shop when you pull up, with a warm fire. Great service and everyone was friendly. Saws and carts are provided and we love that they will shake and bale for free. Beautiful spot and we had a great time choosing our tree!

Great place, do not go anywhere else if you live in the Wilmington area! First time here, great selection of trees I think 5 species? Beautiful wreaths and little plant pots!

This was the first year we came to Cupola and will definitely be coming back next year! The selection of Christmas trees was awesome. We had such a hard time deciding between trees, they were all so full and healthy. The staff was super friendly and helpful with getting our tree shaken, bailed, and put into the back of our truck. There’s also an adorable little shop with live wreaths/planters to check out after cutting your tree down. Can’t recommend this place enough!
