Gerry is the man! I've never met such a friendly, helpful team at a service center. Everyone went out of their way to help. I'd highly recommend visiting.
Overall customer service the last few years has gone down significantly. Used to have a single competent point of contact at the local branch, but now any parts ordering goes through a call center, or general email address and often takes 1-2 days to get a response. Almost every part ordered automatically comes with a shipping / handling fee that has sometimes exceeded the cost of the part. Hard to get anyone to answer the phone must always go to Indiana first. Takes forever
When using my Cummins Onan P4500I generator with the red power switch turned on, the electric push button did not work nor did the remote start or stop the generator, but I could hand pull start the motor without problem. So I called Cummins, Avondale, on my way through Phoenixand they said YES they service it with a minimum charge of $432. I had a few alternatives other than to leave it there for them to service as it was a Cummins service centers.
