Just had a great experience at Cummins Calgary. Parts guy was knowledgeable about parts and very helpful. Explained about upgrade to some parts and said they are compatible for my engine. I travel 90 mins to get my parts from them.
The parts desk team is excellent—knowledgeable and easy to work with. Unfortunately, the call center is often unable to complete the tasks required and often cannot connect me with the appropriate branch.
We have tried to get Cummins parts but their online parts people are not knowledgeabIe, they sent us an incompatible part and when I emailed the company with photos, data plate information, complete numbers, they don't answer. How do you source parts for a Cummins Engine when they sell you incorrect parts over the phone and then do not respond to emails. This has also happened with filters with Cummins. Not sure why their parts department cannot source correct parts.
I’m 20 minutes away from the dealership and yet I get connected to someone in India for parts. This's ridiculous.
These people are the worst! You’d think, bring your Cummins motor to Cummins, right? They will know how to fix it! NOT AT ALL! Did they tell you, well, that’s what happens when you just show up. What? Who doesn’t just show up. That was after showing up and making an appointment for 2 days later. All they’re going to do is start replacing things that don’t need replacing. Don’t even bother.
