Bought a Peterbilt and wanted to get the ECM flashed so I could raise the governor. They charged me $600 just to work with the ECM. Then charged me another $100 to actually flash the thing. If you can get things done somewhere else, do that. It will probably be cheaper in the end.
Tim Price is a champ in there. He has been extremely helpful, and diligent with his follow through. If he doesn’t have the information readily available he finds it and gets back to you. I’ve learned so much from him in the past few months.
Our Onan generator came with our new RV. Nothing but problems from the start. Had a major failure while under warranty. It was like pulling teeth to get the work completed. There were three obvious mistakes made which I fixed myself. Incompetent staff. The same part failed shortly afterwards however we were out of warranty. $5,000 to repair. We told them to keep it and installed a Lithium. Stay away from Onan and it's repair facilities.
Our RV generator was malfunctioning, it had a 3 year warranty with Cummins Sales and Service (from a different branch). We came to this Charlotte location to get it serviced still under warranty We sat waiting for over 2 hours (which nobody told us how long it would take).
