Contacted Cumberland power equipment with a snowblower issue. Opted for their pick up service as it is tough for me to bring my equipment in within their hours of operation. They set up a pick up time within a couple days of their request. No issue as it is a busy time of their year. I followed up on the initial pickup day and they called me but then never showed up to pick up the equipment. I went in with the intentions of buying an Ariens 28" SHO and left with the 24" Platinum. Yes it was a bit more money, but in the end size works for me more than the extra money. Becky (sorry if spelled wrong) was great to deal with and I would recommend her again. She offered advice if I was to go used as well and what to make sure I look for. I appreciate the honesty and the prompt turnaround of my purchase. Just need some snow to justify it now.
I absolutely understand it's a small shop and there isn't a bunch of sales staff, but the man working in sales (possibly the owner) needs to learn how to balance more than 1 customer. I was talking to him and asking questions about a snow blower, mid sentence and mid questions he sees other customers and just leaves me there. Never came back to see me. He must have figured he had more chances of selling to them than to me. Could have just said "hey new customers I'll be with you in a bit". Nope, just left me there alone lol.... read more
