The room was not clean, it had a very strong smell of cigarettes and the hot water only lasted for 1-2 minutes. Very disappointed,we won’t be back.👎🏾

We had a wonderful stay at Cumberland Motel on the weekend! The room was clean and roomy, and the staff were amazing. They went above and beyond to help us out. I highly recommend this motel for anyone visiting the Hunter Region.

I spent 2.5 months at the Cumberland Motor Inn as I was homeless. Manny and the lovely care taking staff always looked after me. I was in the disability friendly room, which suited all my needs. Thank you kindly 🙏

Large rooms that are clean. The room was well maintained. Friendly service and close to shops, cafes, and pubs. For a great place to eat, there is a fantastic Thai/ Japanese restaurant a short walk from the hotel. The only downside was the inconsiderate pub goers coming out making a lot of noise.

Quite reasonably-priced, friendly staff and spacious room. Cigarette smoking should not be allowed right outside rooms, though, as the smell goes into the nearby rooms
