Closed my file twice, without my consent. Documented that I requested it when I never did. I begged them for an appointment with a counsellor, why would I ask them to close my file? My appointments got cancelled or changed without my knowledge, and then marked as a no-show when I wasn't even aware of the appointment time/date. As someone on LTD, my benefits are at risk of being cut off due to Cumberland county mental health notes lying about not seeing me, and lying about the reason they closed my file without my consent. Be careful. If you tell them you have an alcohol problem, they'll label you as having a drug and alcohol problem when drugs were never the problem. Because like most psych services, they jump to conclusion instead of actually listening to you. I went, I got let go TWICE while I was still sick and confused and I had to figure it ALL out on my own. If you're not actively suicidal, they don't want you. Called complaining about my new meds making me more anxious and suicidal. Receptionist said phycologist will call me at so and so date. Nope he called me the next day as I was going into work I said you'll have to call back at 2 he said okay and that was a week ago. Haven't heard back but also haven't offed myself. 🤷♀️

Ive done a few classes here and met some new friends and have had great success with my memtal health n dealing with my severe health issues n they helped me learn the tools to overcome many hurdles in my life so far 🩹
