I went after doing 45 at CH, I grasped sobriety, I live it out daily. A year ago I was dying and today I’m living out a dream. I’m thankful for every man that has ever worked on himself there. Still Waters is for everyone but not everyone is for Still Waters. 10/10 would save my life again.
This was not a good experience for my daughter. It was her first time in any kind of a treatment center and the rules and regulations were quite severe. It was during covid so that made it difficult to go to meetings. And yes it was Hardcore Christian which was difficult for her to accept but she was pretty much forced into doing what they wanted her to do so she could have privileges she was basically eventually asked to totally conform and do exactly what they said or leave and she chose to leave. Still Waters taught me how to integrate 12 step recovery into daily life; as well as navigating re-integrating into normal life in general.
