Very disappointing experience. I brought my XC60 in to replace one tire and paid $649.94, including an $18.93 credit-card surcharge disclosed only when I was ready to pay. The visit took nearly two hours. Their complimentary inspection produced approximately $2,800 in “immediate” recommendations, including preventive spark plugs, a $65 rotation, and a $200 alignment without providing alignment measurements. Parts department ... The long-time parts department manager is no longer there. They discontinued their wholesale parts sales website. The parts counter adds a massive markup from even Volvo US corporate. Let me put this into perspective: They are charging $115 extra (44% markup) for a part over another local dealer catalog. Wow, big changes.
I purchased my 2022 Volvo XC90 T8 from Culver City Volvo in December 2021 for more than $80,000. The dealership once provided a premium level of service, but my July 2026 visit was one of the worst experiences I have had with a luxury-brand dealership. The first time I took my car in for an issue with my heater, I had exceptional service with no problems. This led to me bringing my car back when it was time for my annual service. On this occasion, the service had a sharp decline. When I brought the car in for the interval service, there was an issue with the engine which I only found out after inquiring.
