RecommendedA bright, caring doctor who really pays attention!
Dr. Schechter is an excellent physician who actually listens. I rely on him as my "go-to" general practitioner and have never regretted it. His book is an excellent resource about the mind/body relationship to chronic pain. His is not a "next patient every 15 minutes" practice you might experience in other offices - you know - the feeling of being just another number in the appointment book. I was relieved when I transitioned from private insurance to Medicare to be able to continue with him.
Even though my PSA levels were still normal, Dr. Schechter noticed the upward trend and referred me to a urologist, which I'm convinced saved my life.
Dr. Schechter is an amazing physician who helped me heal completely from chronic back pain (tms). Great person and a great Doctor, highly recommended!
