Totally expensive but great quality. I got Nishio Matcha - Hikari 50g around $50
The baristea was charming. One of the coolest sinks I've ever seen. It could have been better if it was raining outside but I guess it was beyond their control. They should have an event calendar for this awesome place.
I have mixed feelings about this place. The atmosphere is calm and the décor is beautiful. Unfortunately, the matcha latte tasted quite weak, with the oat milk overpowering the matcha. There were also dry matcha clumps left at the bottom of the cup, which was disappointing given the premium price point. Overall, the drinks didn’t feel as refined as I expected for the cost.
I brought my mom here for her birthday and we had such an amazing time. Gerard was very welcoming and knowledgeable! Thank you Cultivate Tea (shout out to Gerard) for making my mom’s birthday extra special. She still hasn’t stopped talking about how much she enjoyed all the matchas she had that day and neither have I!
The matcha tasting experience is divine and well worth the price. Quite enlightening for someone like me. I really enjoyed my selections.
