My husband and I bought two beautiful pendants from Cult. Service was absolutely terrible. It took away from the experience of buying something very precious to us. We’ve been to the shop 4 times due to errors on their end which has been frustrating and time consuming. Communication was neither honest nor efficient. Bought a $6,000 sofa from Cult via HAY (a brand they sell). Less than a year in, the fabric’s already deteriorating. When we raised it in-store, the person helping us said it was basically our fault for choosing an ‘accessible’ brand and said we bought into the ‘marketing’. Not sure in what world $6k is accessible, or how that’s customer service.
I have been such a long term customer and lover of Cult until recently. I had a Zanotta velvet sofa delivered in March. It arrived with a fault and I was assured by the company that a new cushion would be ordered immediately. I followed up by phone and email to confirm this had been done. 6 months later it hadn’t arrived from Italy and so I chased again. Absolutely the best showroom I’ve been to! The layout is clean, elegant, and truly inspiring. If you’re planning to go for a minimalist style, this is definitely the right place, their designs and displays capture simplicity and sophistication perfectly. Highly recommended!
