this shop is great,i took my car in to have a coolant leak checked ,will ,found the problem showed it to me and gave me a estimate,very honest mechanic at this shop.how many shops will show you what the labor guide says they are supposed to charge.even got a military discount and every penny counts now a days . i will return and send all my family and friend s there.

Problems scheduling the work made Culpepper a big waste of time. I brought the car in on a Friday early when they told me they could work on it. I stupidly told them that I would return to pick up the car late that day. The mechanic never got around to fixing it and wanted to keep the car until Monday afternoon when he thought he'd get a chance to look at it. I subsequently took to a shop in Chesapeake who had the a/c working within an hour.

Culpepper Radiator has always been honest and fair with me. The employees are knowledgeable and very friendly. One of the things that I like about them is that the mechanics do not get paid by commission so they are not trying to sell you on things that you do not need. I give their rating a 5 out of 5.

They have fair prices and do good work. They also stand behind it- I had a problem with one of their jobs, showed them the problems, and they fixed it. They also respect their customers, which I appreciate. I'm a fairly decent mechanic myself, and they don't talk down to me. The only reason why it was 4 out of 5 stars was that the guy who worked on my car last did not adjust the clutch properly. I ended up doing it myself.
