I just wanted to add that I went here for a primary visit when I was 6 weeks pregnant, 2 days out of a psych inpatient unit, and diagnosed schizophrenic. The primary care doctor I had said that it was wrong for me to get an abortion because it was a baby. I WAS 6 WEEKS PREGNANT!!! AND not thinking straight because I was freshly out of psychosis! The nurse faye was a very rude and had a nasty tone of voice her demeanor was awful she told my father god put him in the hospital for a reason she the tall nurse who was on the 6th floor main she has a nasty attitude she need her license taken away
This hospital is still billing me for a debt that was paid. I have been harassed for 4 years due to this. Whenever you call, you are placed on hold for hours or told to call back in 30 days.
Staff on site were caring and kind- billing was highway robbery. I was seen for what was ultimately a minor injury that did not require any type of bloodwork or hospitalization. I wasn't even given a physical exam. I was seen by a nurse who took my vitals, waited for about 45 minutes, then spoke to a doctor who did not examine me. I was sent home with a script. Examining rooms are dirty, walls banged up and quite dated. Scruffy physician named Dr. Richter cones in & tells me I have Covid. I asked him why he made that impression after just looking in my throat. He tells me it is prevalent right now, and the Covid tests are inaccurate - if - I wanted one. Never having been diagnosed with Covid I requested a test - which came back negative. review 2- rating: AdventHealth has a system that restricts you from being able to speak directly with your physician when you call them. You only get to speak with office staff. They send text messages to the doctor, the doctor sends text messages back to them and then they either send you a text message or will call you and leave you a message about what the doctor said. You will only ever speak directly with a medical provider if you go in after having made an appointment and showing up for that appointment. Advent... read more
Mary Varghese has been a life saver for me, as my primary care provider for 10 years. She is a Super careful, thorough manager of my major health conditions and has adjusted my meds successfully as my conditions and tests indicate.. i highly recommend her!
If you don't have a freshly avulsed limb or organs outside of your body they aren't going to look past the initial x ray or bloodwork for answers. They get really defensive when you ask why they won't look any further. Might as well go to the school nurse, at least you're not expecting much to be done past a band aid and a nose wipe.
