We have had a Culligan OX-5 iron filter in our house for 3 years. I an very conflicted about my opinion of Culligan, so let me share the pros and cons from my viewpoint: Pros - the local IGH team is great. They strive to provide great service. I especially like our tech Derek who helps service our system. The OX-5 does indeed remove iron from the water. Had the bottled water service for years and that was always good. Signed up for the RO system and was told they’d be able to split and run a line to my freezer to make ice. On the day install happened, it never even got looked at. They also showed up two hours early without even bothering to call first. Luckily, my wife was home. (Showed up at 1, when our time window we were given was to be between 3 and 4.) Then, they just threw the system in under our sink as fast as possible and left.
