The house we bought already had a Culligan softener and supposedly a filter installed. We decided to go with their monthly service plan that supposedly pays for the rental of the softener, filter, and servicing. After 5 months of having no one stop by and noticing mineral deposits in our sinks (plus a taste to the filtered water), I tried calling Culligan for service. 3 months later and 5+ calls with NO response I stopped in person at their office (in another town).
