This unit came with the home when we purchased it. We had started paying the $56 a month for that i am not sure. They company came a total of 2 times in 5 years. When looking at the price of water softeners i have paid for this unit at least 3 times. I will never use Culligan again and strongly advise others to just buy your own unit.
