As a salesperson myself, Rob Allen, the Culligan salesman was the worst salesperson I have yet to encounter. He kept trying to justify his over priced water softeners verses competitors pricing by using car analogies?! How does comparing his Culligan to a Mercedes or Ferrari verses his competitors in terms of quality make any sense in this frame of reference? His unit was $3047 for the premium unit. I bought a house less than 5 months ago and part of my closing deal was new products from Culligan that should have warranty. Within those 5 months, I found out that my transformer was hooked up incorrectly and that my sterner pump tube and cap were damaged. I called to get these items repaired under the warranty and was informed in a rudely manner that I do not have warranty because I was not the original purchaser...
