We had a Culligan water softener for well over 12 years. We probably had two service calls in the same time period. Recently we had another issue, diagnosed as wear and tear, we decided to replace it with a new model(High Efficiency)' instead of repairing this older model. We like the newer features such as the Aqua Sensor, and Brine reclaim option. A little bit more expensive, but do not plan on buying another one, for a long time. From the initial sales visit and over the years that followed just a bad experience....the salesman said the outside location was perfect for the installation. The install guy said it was fine....the first delivery guy said it was too hard to push the dolly thru the area to get to the hook ups. I had to build a walkway and add decomposed granite to create the walkway. Multiple billing issues, no call backs when promised, delivery guy has a huge chip on his shoulder, and seems to love to crash his dolly into the end of the wa... read more
