When I moved into my new house, the first thing I did was call Culligan and add the water softener service. Now, once a month they come by and check my salt levels and add if needed. Then I am billed for the rental of the equipment and whatever salt they have used. If anything goes wrong with the equipment it is taken care of because of the rental agreement. I love the way my water feels in the shower and in washing. The mineral deposits and breakdown of appliances is minimal. One of the best decisions that I have made.
