Went here for my birthday dinner, cool atmosphere just do NOT get the brisket. severely overcooked and inedible. a beef jerky/leathery texture. Was very disappointed.
We were seated and waited close to 25 minutes before we decided leaving, during our time there, we never once saw our server, never got a drink order, literally nothing, and it’s not like the place was busy, there were probably 5 other tables taken in the whole restaurant, we were walked past multiple times and never spoken to
Waited for 20 minutes and still didn’t even see our waitress. No drinks or anything. The staff was walking past us to grab things, chatting with other people. There were only 3 other groups in the restaurant.
We've been to Culinary Underground several times and although it's an overall 4 star, tonight it was a 3. We were attending an event in Davis Park which is directly outside of the restaurant and popped in for a break. Service was friendly and the place has a cozy vibe in the exposed basement of the Embassy Suites. Unfortunately, our cheese curds appitizer was overly greasy, about a quarter of the basket was misc fried bits, and it just didn't taste good at all. We ate a few and then pushed it aside.
