I clearly told him during the initial consultation that there were areas I was growing out and didn’t want cut, but he ignored it and cut them anyway. It was the worst experience. I can’t recommend this place to anyone.

Three months later, I changed my rating to one star. I went to a hairstylist outside of Vancouver hoping to re-dye my hair, but was told nothing could be done. I had to cut the damaged hair short, keep it thick to preserve the highlights, and couldn’t thin it out or it would look messy. Taka is a very skilled hair dresser. His attention to detail and passion about his work are excellent qualities that he brings to his profession. He knows a lot about coloring women's hair and how to give me the low lighting effect I want on my greying hair. I also loved my layered cut.
