So so so good and fresh! Amazing prices and even better food:)
One of our favorite restaurants in town. The ropa vieja is great! We’ve had the tamales, plantains, black bean soup and every time the food is on point. They also have homemade hot sauce that is amazing. Best service in town as well. The staff makes you feel at home.
Did I just step into the Bronx? I travel for work and always stop into the local Cuban/Puerto Rican/Dominican restaurants wherever they exist. I was blown away with this little Cuban restaurant in the Roanoke area. The papa rellenos were golden and crispy with a well seasoned piquillo and the empanada was good. The puerco frito was crispy and juicy, the rice was flavorful as were the black beans, and the maduros were perfect. Hot and fresh food. The waitress was very friendly. There's no pork on the cuban.
