I stayed here for a week on my vacation and loved it. I was able to make day trips to wineries every day (20 in 7 days!), popped into Charlottesville one night for dinner and watched a polo match in Crozet before I headed home. Great for a solo traveler or couples. Families with children may have to get creative with the sleeping arrangements; there's one bedroom upstairs and a futon that opens into a bed downstairs.

I spent the winter season working at Wintergreen resort and my 4 month stay at Cub Creek was perfect for what I needed. The Hodge family was very hospitable and always open if I had any questions about the apartment. The place is very roomy for a one bedroom apartment complete with all the comforts of home. Great location just down the hill from the moutain, a few minutes from some great breweries and Bold Rock Cidery, and it's close to Crabtree Falls if you are looking for things to do in the area!
