The store itself is alright, but you cannot get service in any department. I’m assuming it’s because they are under staffed because they are bargaining their union contract and cut hours to save money. However when people like myself stop shopping here because there is nobody to help in the deli for example, I’m not sure how much money it actually saves.
Takes forever for someone to answer the phone. Then after waiting for 4 minutes asking to be transferred to Meat Dept to find out if they have any stuffed mushrooms on the shelf. "No we don't make them and we haven't gotten them in and I don't do the ordering, so I don't know."
I purchased some refrigerated fried chicken and when I was going to eat some I noticed that there were double tables on it. After I peeled the top label off I discovered that it was past the original sell by date. Instead of removing it from the shelf for sale, they just put a new sticker over it saying it was good for 2 more days. And it was full price! When I opened it, there were pieces of chicken that were slimy. Shame on you CUB.
