Biggest scam hospital/ER you'll ever go to. Sat for 3 hours at the littleton location to have my sons tooth pulled as his dentist was out of town.. After waiting and seeing the PA, they told me they don't have a dentist on staff (even though I confirmed prior why I was there). They then transferred me to see the dentist at the aurora location. I check in, sit in a room for another 3 hours and get the tooth pulled. I confirmed cash pay for the tooth pull and paid all bills. I then get another bill stating that I also needed t... read more

Our child was hurt by CU Medicine Unfortunately, our 11 year old son needed gallbladder surgery and, unfortunately, we received care from CU Medicine. The CU Medicine anesthesiologist knocked out son’s tooth and beat up his face during gall bladder surgery! He woke up crying, not from surgical wounds, but wounds to his mouth and face that occurred during intubation. He then contracted post-op pneumonia, forcing us to visit the ER 3 times over 30 days where more bills racked up. As his parents, we complied with CU Health proc... read more

My son was seen at Children's Hospital in Highlands Ranch. The first doctor didn't know how to do the 2 stitches needed so another provider was called in to "teach" the initial provider. We were billed $473 for the first doc and $417 for he second for a total visit cost of $6,160.48 for an urgent care visit during normal business hours for the 2 CU Medicine providers. I called and this is "standard billing practice". Healthcare is broken and this just wrong.

I think everyone should be warned and aware that they will send any amount bill to BC Services, and BC Services will make a point to take you to court over it, even if you've been making payments. This is all over an under $600 bill. If you don't have insurance, don't go to any health office that employs CU Medicine employees, seriously. I learned the hard way lol.

This company never sends a bill and instead puts you right into collections. This has been for petty amounts of money. When I call to get it cleared up Im told a bill was mailed or emailed. Unfortunately for them I have Informed Delivery from USPS and can show no such billing attempts were ever made. Furthermore, after dealing with this for 4 years now, when I called about their latest non-bill/straight to collections move today I was informed that I had 3 other invoices that were sent to collections going back to 2022. Not ... read more
