I reached a point where I felt I no longer could function in life due to trauma and hardships. Throughout my life I’ve been chasing my mental health down, trying to improve it. No experience has been more positive and effective than my time at Control Care in Randolph. Angelo and his entire team are kind, professional and effective. If you are struggling I strongly recommend giving them a call.

This was my first time receiving mental health services. Honestly I thought it would be a lot different. When I spoke with the director during intake I mentioned how I was interested in a holistic approach. I was misled and told there would be art therapy and yoga. The only art therapy was a few drawing exercises in 11 weeks. The staff was very friendly but I feel like for the cost of a 3 hour session, there should’ve been more than group therapy.

Leo who answers phones and schedules you for intake is phenomenal and a sweetheart. Angelo on the other hand made me feel uncomfortable the entire 30 minutes I dealt with him. I really wish he understood that all kids are unique and should not get sensitive when they do not want to shake his hand. He seems to have a personality of entitlement and I wish him the best.

So far, my son is doing really well and discovering himself day by day through the IOP. He was hesitant at first but these people truly care. Even the few weeks he’s been there, he’s already changed mindset and behaviors. I’m so grateful.
