All this to show the recovering community that there is, indeed, life in recovery. CCAR IS FOUNDATIONAL FOR ME, SINCEMOVING TO BRIDGEPORT ITS BEEN A SAFE HAVEN FOR ME TO GO TO TO SHARE MY TESTIMONY OF MY JOURNEY IN RECOVERY. ITS A PLACE OF RESOURCE FOR ME AND I AM A RESOURCE TO OTHERS WHEN I GO THERE.
I love Ccar,I've been going there since2012 since I started my recovery.It feel like home .Carlos and Elisabeth work hard to make us feel like we the volenters feel like we are part of the team.I also go to meeting there.Yoland is amazing.Ive made many friends over the years.Its a safe haven.The coffee and cokkies make it even a better place to talk to a recovery coach, look for a job go to a good women's meeting meetings are at 10 and 12
CCAR is an amazing place to go for any kind of support both for recovery as well as job search or housing placement guidance in the right direction. I came here to have a safe and sober environment to be in which turned into me seeing the real benefit of this center. This prompted me to start volunteering then took further classes involved with CCAR.
