I met with Nyla in Advising to complete a student success plan- She is so helpful, encouraging, and thorough. The Hub representative was also pleasant and helpful. I also visited Financial Aid to submit the student success plan. The woman (I don’t remember her name sorry) working in the Financial Aid office was a pleasure to speak to. Just a quick FYI for anyone who is a certified goober like me: Financial Aid is in the AD building…Not the FA building lol
I am visiting the town of Plata nearby. I am looking at Google maps satellite view. If you think about the way we develop land isn’t it so obvious that we have shot ourselves in the foot? Y’all have a lot of open space and trees, which is so nice. But it’s a big blob here and a little blob there, and they’re all cut off from each other by roads. There’s a small development of houses here and another development there, and a small shopping area over yonder. Woods scattered in between… but the woods are no use to the wild crea... read more
